Siker, Sunday 17 June 2007 - 04:39:43 // comment: 1

We now have a faster server. Hopefully page loads will feel quicker.

Also, Path to Prestige has finally been taken down. Rest in peace.

Norwinter Founder Creates Reload Kit Earth
Siker, Wednesday 21 March 2007 - 01:40:04 // comment: 1

Alexander, one of the people behind Norwinter Studios, has created a site aiming to become the ultimate survival guide: a guide for civilization itself. Reload Kit Earth is a collaborative project to create a kind of emergency capsule to be used in case our current civilization is wiped out.

The project features cool 'What If...?' thinking and the idea of building up to our modern standard of life from almost nothing but natural resources and a handy Reload Kit.

Konkret Upgrade
Siker, Monday 13 November 2006 - 23:08:21 // comment: 1

Konkret, your one stop place for awesome roleplay dice rolling, has been upgraded with a little help page. Start rolling here or check out the new (kinda tiny) manual here. If you are a Konkret expert, feel free to post suggestions for additions to the manual in the forum.

New Utility From Norwinter Member
Siker, Friday 27 October 2006 - 06:06:21 // comment: 0

With Konkret doing so well it was time for another utility. Alexander has created a cool web 2.0 utility for Playing With Wire. It's called Cuzimatter and allows you to create 'digg this', 'add to del.icio.us' and 'add to blinklist' links. These can then be added to your blog entries to promote exposure for your coolest work. Start creating your links here.

Amiga Using Visitor Spotted!
Siker, Monday 23 October 2006 - 03:14:08 // comment: 1

I was browsing the server logs just now when I saw it. An AmigaOS entry! Coolness. I guess that's a sign as good as any that the Amiga is still out there doing cool stuff. I bet they have a super snappy browsing experience in comparision even to my 1GB dual core MacBook Pro. The Amiga just never was a big fan of swapping or bloat.

I think Amiga OS's homepage these days is here. They're still working on creating something modern from the super fast Amiga OS.

Konkret Keeps on Rolling
Siker, Saturday 21 October 2006 - 22:14:30 // comment: 2

In the last day, the dice roller program Konkret rolled roll number 50,000! The little dice export program is becoming quite popular for its niche. It's not the Norwinter servers are being stormed by eager dice rollers, but the number is still pretty dang massive. As of this writing, Konkret is number 11 on Google if you search for 'dice roller'. That means just one spot away from the first page! Maybe there'll be a massive increase in users when Konkret hits the first page. We'll see.
